Hello, I have a question regarding an odor I have been getting from my water. The water smells like sulfur or faintly like rotten eggs.

The odor started after I turned down the temperature on the hot water heater from 150 to 120 in an attempt to lower the electric bill this summer.

I do not have any specs on the well. It was set up around 1978, has a myers submersable pump and there is no filter on the main. Any ideas, should I be concerned?
