Attached is the instructions from a tank near my well.
It appears to be origional from 1985 (home built in 85). Uses Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4)as a regenerate.
The unit has been neglected.
Is it ok and safe to use?
How much KMnO4 do I add for regeneration?
Is it worth using? (there are rust stains at the faucets and toilets and tub) Hopefully CLR will clean toilets and tubs.

The last line of the picture states not to use Chlorine bleaches in laundry. Why? What do you use instead?
