I am new to this forum and would like to start out by saying hello.

I just built a house on property that has a well that only produces < .5 gal/min. There have been 2 or 3 occasions where the well has run dry and I am getting sick of it. After reading through many posts it looks as though installing a storage tank can be an option. If I were to go this route, what is a typical setup. Here is what I think should be done:

To fill the storage tank:
submersible pump --- timer --- contactor --- high/low float switches

To draw from the storage tank:
low float switch --- contactor --- jetpump --- pressure switch

The only component that I can't find in this setup is the timer. I wanted a timer because of my well's slow recovery rate. I would set it up to pump like 10 gallons every hour or something to that affect. And the mid level float switch would be the swtich to allow power to the contactor that would send power to the timer. The low float on the jet pump side is to kill power at low levels for pump saftey.

Any thoughts/comments are appreciated.
