I have a well in the basement of my home on an outdoor switch. I have a 20 gallon bladder tank, precharged at 30 psi. Submersible pump about 27' deep. This well is such that I use it for outside watering only. House is on City water.
1) Can I manipulate the pressure switch (Square D) and/or tank charge psi to allow the pump continuous running? It seems that continuous would be better than cycling.
2) If so, what are effects on this system if pump is run continuous for some periods where no water is allowed out (spigot closed, switch left on,etc.)?
Your input is appreciated. Thanks.
