Last week I went to use a faucet, water trickled out, then no water, just air. I went to the basement to discover the sump had a problem & I had a lot of water. The water tank was submersed. I got a submersible pump to take the water out - I have to keep doing it as the water keeps coming it - will replace the sump as soon as possible. I'm wondering, will the switch to the water tank dry out & start working or do I need to add air to the tank? I have no experience with any of this and need a step-by-step explanation to correct this. Any help is much appreciated - I seriously need a shower to go to work.
