I used to be a supplier, I have since retired and sold the pump shop in Riverview. I can still get some items like pumps and tanks, but the screen you would do better buying from someone else.

A one horse will be plenty. It will probably try to overpump the well, but you never know. Yes I am suggesting the two inch screen and pipe top to bottom. Putting the footvalve in the screen isn't a bad idea. Use 1-1/4" pipe. You can probably wash a larger pipe in first then pull it back off the screen and/or the pipe if you like. The sand will cave back in around the screen with no problem.
