Greetings
I have a wellpoint which pumped reasonably well, been a while since I measured the gpm - but it was good enough for my purposes.
Anyway, I disconnected the pump to drain a swimming pool. When the pump was reconnected to the wellpoint three days later, I only get a trickle from the wellpoint and hardly any pressure. Have been thru all the joints for air leaks, cleaned and confirmed correct operation of the non-return valve, pump, etc and all is okay. There is no air bubbles in the water.
Is it possible that something happened to the wellpoint during the three days while it was disconnected. I'm pretty sure nothing is blocking. Is there a way to rehabilitate the wellpoint or kindly advise any suggestions you may have.
I'm desparate - the sun's beating down and the lawn is crying out for water.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Russell
