Hi guys,
I have an outbuilding near a river where I want to have install a sink for general clean-up and so forth (not for drinking). I drove a 2" pipe down about 20' and hit water at about 10'.
Then I tried attaching the pump shown in the attached picture. It came from Northern Tool (Northern Industrial Cast Iron Clear Water Pump — 720 GPH, 1/2 HP, 1in.) but this apparently doesn't have enough power/lift to move the water.
Any ideas on what to do? My friends are telling me "just get a bigger pump". And yes, the pump was primed and running fine otherwise (no problems connecting it eletrically).
Thanks in advance for your advice.
Regards,
Honey B
