My submersible well pump suddenly stopped working. It pressure switch is fine, and there is power being sent to the Franklin Control box. It is the model with a starting capacitor and some other small relay or capacitor on the cover. When the cover is put in place, there are connector prongs that connect to the bus where the power input and out put are attached.

How can I tell if the capacitors in the control box are the problem or if my well pump (4" well, pump at 60', probably 1 HP)is fried or something? How does one diagnose this?
