Hi, I'm Dawn Steven's neighbor and am writing to ask if it's possible, in extremely cold temps (i.e 0-5 degrees) if my primary supply line has froze? I've checked the pressure switch at the tank (in my basement) and it seems to be operating fine (I've place a heat lamp nearby just in case it was froze)... used a wooden spoon to open/close contacts... contact arm moved freely. Also have placed space heaters near tank to make sure nothing froze inside. When pressure drops below 30psi on pressure switch, contacts close, systems trys to operate but nothing (water) seems to be filling tank and I have no water. Also, How would I know if well went dry?
Any suggestions/ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks much.
