Have a client with a Myers HJ series (75 I believe with a mounted 30-50 pressure switch) mounted on top of a WaterAce RPT20H pressure/bladder tank, with recommended plumbing/pipe hookup. It is configured for a deep well system.

He is losing a tank every 3-5 years, some of it due to acidic and sulpher (possibly magnesium)conditions.

I have studied the installation suggestions and uses for a CSV valve, but am confused on the proper installation (position of valve; and does pressure line need to be moved from regulator/outlet "t" to another location near the tank inlet. Would a CSV1 be appropriate in this installation?

Don't have water analysis on hand, but what devices should be used to correct water quality? A water softner IS installed in the line, but no other devices are present.
