Sort of a vague question here but curious what pump brand you all prefer for a 10-12GPM 3/4-1HP range pump? Plan to go 3 wire this time. The pump we have at our place is going on 30 years and I don't mind spending the money to get a replacement pump that will last. I have seen a lot of discussion where experts feel manufacturers have really downgraded pumps to where they aren't even lasting 10 years. And some cases where deep well pumps are only lasting a few years?!!

For pumps in general, are there any tricks to improving lifespan aside from obvious things like keeping sand out of them? Seems like a csv would help minimize cycling which reduces the life span.
