I am trying to get water to a building site on a hill on our farm. We have a great spring that produces plenty of water, and is gravity feeding down to a few houses below it. I am wanting to tap into that line and pump to my building site which is roughly 100' up and 1,000' distance. My Grandparents are doing the same thing on the opposite side of the valley. They have a false well with a submersible pump and a pressure pump and tank up at the house. if Thats the best way to do it what size pump would i need? I'm thinking to run 1" PVC. Is there any other options that would be better? Could i have a pump at the top the would pull it up and deliver straight to the house?
Any thoughts would be appreciated
