Hi there,
For quite some time, we have had a slight reduction in our water pressure. Now, I'm looking out the window in the fresh 6" of snow, and am noticing that quite an ice rink has formed around my well head. I don't think we've pulled the sub. pump since we built the house 8 yrs. ago. I can't even remember how the black plastic pipe affixes to the line, etc. The pressure tank does not call for water unless a faucet is turned on, and the ice slick seemed to noticeably increase just after doing showers and laundry this morning. It is reeeeeeeaaaaally cold here, so I want to diagnose this puppy best I can before diving in to the project. (Oh, and I'm in the middle of nowhere, at least an hour from a well professional, or a hardware store.) If it is a fitting in the vicinity of the pitless adapter, can anyone refresh my memory on how that all fits together, and is pulled up? All help/ideas would be appreciated. (PS: my hubby is out of town, so I'm on my own on this one!)
