Hi again,

I have a question about how to drain the water line from the pressure tank in my cabin to below the frost line.

I will have a drilled well about 200' deep. The pitless will be about 5' down. The cabin is slight up hill about 50'away from the well site. The cabin is on posts so the water pipe will be exposed under the floor.
During times in the winter when I'm there, I plan on using an 'in the pipe' heater from the cabin to below the frost line. When i'm not there, I would like to drain the water out of the line from the cabin to below the frost line.

If there is a check valve at the pump, how can this be acomplished?

I have not installed this well yet, so I an trying to get things straight now.
