It's been over two years now since I orig. posted about my 2" Well with a packer on it started to pump sand. I have since had to replace the pumps motor and Impala due to the sand destroying it. And now the sand is coming out in larger quantities, so we are now at the cross roads of saying we got great water from that small 2" well with Galv. caseing at 100' and my drop pipe at 103' and I only have a 1 1/2 hp above ground pump we used it since 1989 with GREAT water Quality etc. so we got our moneys worth I believe.
What I'd like to know is if anyone could give me a Ballpark figure on a new 4" well and a proper sized pump etc. to be installed. We live in Hudson, Florida luckily no rock was found when the last one was drilled "the 2" well" just passed through some clay otherwise all was pure white clean super fine sand... Anyone's input would be of great help to us, I know it is just a matter of time before I loose my 2" well all the way. Thanks in Advance, Rich....

Also is it possible for a person to put in a 4" caseing if it is only in sand?

If so how would one go about this....
