I'm going to be putting a grundfos 11 SQF-2 230' down in a old well(well is 274' deep) with a 12" steel casing. I'm using 160psi poly and the power source will be a 1300watt solar array so there will be very little starting and stopping torque. I'm wondering if there is any way to keep the pump centered in the well or if it will beat itself around in the casing until it fails? Is this a concern? I looked into torque arrestors but I could not[B)] find one for a 12" casing and was told they are not needed anyway. Anyone got thoughts on this?
