I am building my own home and have had my well drilled (565' deep) but it was unable to be hooked up b/c I haven't finished hooking up my power, etc. I was hoping to install my own pump and hook the well up to my house myself rather than hiring someone to do that. My husband and I feel comfortable running the pipe and electrical, but have not had any experience with installing a pump. I'm open for any advice on installation, pump recommendations, etc. I have been researching pumps lately and determined that for the depth of my well I'm looking at a 3hp motor and at least 10gpm. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
