This is a two part question:
I have a 2" dia. well that is being drilled to a depth of 240 feet.
The driller is going to install a (2) stage 1hp/230v jet pump.
Does it sound right to expect 4~5 gpm at 40psig using this pump?

Next question:
What is meant by down pipe? The well is quoted for a depth of 240 feet. But on the estimate sheet there is only 100ft. of down pipe.
