Hi, new to this forum. Thanks to the admin of this site!
This question may be a little off topic from most of the posts I read, but maybe someone can help make it a little clearer for me..

Due to atmospheric pressure, you cannot pull enough vacuum to draw water from deeper than approx. 25' deep with a cylinder at ground level... correct? What is the semi-scientific explanation of this trait of a shallow well? I know why it doesn't work, I would just like to understand it in more detail.. Anyone have some input? Thanks for your time, and I appreciate any input..
