I have a well here in Michigan that is 200 ft. deep 5 in. casing with a static water level that is down 70 ft.
It is at a rental property for a mobile home. When the well was put in they buried the pressure tank down 5.5ft.
I dug down and removed the pressure tank and put it in a heated--dog house type of-- building on the surface.
The pressure switch is above ground but it has a line running down 5.5 ft. and attaches to the plastic well casing--this was probably done this way because the pressure tank was buried.
Now with the pressure tank above ground couldn't the pressure switch just be hooked to the pressure tank??
The water is surging in the mobile now is this a low air pressure in the tank???
Thanks for any and all help.
