I would like to start off by thanking anyone and everyone in advance that may be able to assist and answer a few, probably novice questions regaurding making a preinstalled sandpoint opperational.

I recently purchased a house that has a sandpoint with pump and tank setup. Here is what I know about the system thus far.

Sandpoint is approx. 150 Ft. from a substantial creek.
Unknow how far down the sandpoint goes.
Check valve is installed on the inlet then connects to the pump.
Connected to the pump is a Flotec FP7100H

Im am not sure how long it has been since the last time the system was opporational.


I am unable to get any water to pump from the system. The pump turns on and runs with the precharge on the tank at 40 PSI.

Any recommendations on getting water flowing?
