Howdy: I'm trying to put together an old system in a new cabin on my ranch....I have a 1100 gal .cistern in ground about 10ft. from stub up in the cabin...how close to the pump on the inlet side should the check valve be?????the jet pump is a 1/2hp ge motor marked "lion hydraulics, with a well xtrol wx-103 bladder..do i need to put a pressure gauge on the 3/4" outlet side of the pump???Height from pump to horizontal pipes about 7ft head and run about 20ft to faucets and johnny...40ft of pipe at the max..It has a pumptrol press switch which I guess is pre set.factory chrg. pumpcut out @ 30 psi.....How would I go about priming this thing????There looks like a 1/4" hole on top of the pump housing ...Is that was it is for????Hope I got some of the plumbing "ligo" right????Thanks for any help y'all can give me....
