Hi I just installed a new submersible pump 3/4 HP on a shallow well and the pressure the water comes out at is low compared to the old pump. This new pump goes to 30 psi while the old pump went to 70 psi. What suggestions would you guys recommend to diagnose this problem.

One thing I noticed in installing the new 2 wire pump was that there was a third wire that I did not install. Can this be a source of my problem.
