My 500 Ft well has a submersible pump. This summer I have had increased kwh consumption. Would pump electrical consumption be directly proportional to water usage? I say no because most electricity is consumed by cycling on and off. My neighbor disagress and asserts the increase in electrical is due to our families higher water requirements [xx(]and has decided to make me pay for the electrical bill. Since it's a shared well by three homes, I 'm looking for some line of reason to explain this. I don't need a salesman out here trying to sell us another pump. The curve suggests we are well within range of the pump's capacity. I will attempt to adjust pressure in the bladder tank. If the discharge pressure is too low can a no pressure or low pressure translate into increased cycling? Bad relay? Any thoughts?
