If a pump manufactuer has the same type pump available in both:
1/2h 10gpm 230v
3/4h 10gpm 230v
What situation would call for the 3/4 instead of 1/2 if both produce the same gpm?
Just trying to learn! newbie to pumps
would it be because of an extra amount of height,friction and length of run reduces psi? If so, then would the gpm also be affected also?
If I needed/wanted a better pump than 1/2 10gpm, would I go to 3/4 15gpm
instead of 3/4 10gpm?
Some once told me.."pumps don't SUCK!!"...HA, tell that to the guy stuck at the side of the pool!
