My husband and I are considering buying a small water business in Texas, which furnishes water for 89 homes. It has two deep 400' wells in to the Central Texas Aquifer. The wells are 15 years old.

What are the pitfalls of a water business, and what should we be checking, as far as the equipment is concerned. We are getting more details on the pumps & equipment. Do any of you know of an equipment expert in the Central Texas (Austin-San Antonio) area?
