Lost hot water to upstairs. Got it back the next day. Woke up the following morning to no water in the entire house. Outside temps were at or below zero.

Pump exposed to low temperatures. To the best of my knowledge all pipes are thawed, however, pump won't cycle. Try to re-prime and it runs when I hold the lever. Cuts off immediately when I let go and the motor "winds down".

As I was thawing pipes, notice some water dripping from pump (not pipes or connections). Dripping has stopped but can't get anything to run.

Need some insightful advice and/or suggestions.
