We replaced our Myer HJ50D deep well jet pump (with the exact same model). We had ZERO water pumping, with the two pipes full of water. The previous pump began making loud noises and we felt that replacement was the best way (quite old).

Now that its been replaced, when the pump is turned on, it runs for just a minute, overheats, and blows the fuse. We've replaced the fuse. Any ideas?
