    Just Completed Installing Well....????

To start the well is 35' with a static level between 14 & 16 feet. Installed 1.25 PVC with 5' Screen 1HP (SFH100)Beta Flo pump with 17 venture. At this time I do not have the CSV, Tank, etc. Installed. Began pumping off the well, not hard at all to prime. Started pumping a little sand at first but water cleared up fast. But the waster flow seems to be pulsating. I can fill a five gallon bucket at this time in about 50-55 seconds. What do I need to check? Possibly add another screen or check my setup? Also bob did you find the pic of the setup that went to Iraq?
    Thanks for ALL THE HELP!

One thing I forgot to mention in my Email Keith, what kind of screen did you use?

Bob its a PCV sand screen 4' in length. It has way to hot for me to get out there and work with the well today. I have MS and warm weather makes the symptoms worse. So when its blazing hot like today I get pretty sick.
But anyway I am sure that I am in a good vane of water. I just need to get more of the casing pulled up to get the max. water I can from what we have spoken about. When I get that done I will post back the results. I should not have let the casing sit for so long before I got back to work on it.

Sand tends to lock things up very quickly. The plastic screen you are using may be one of the reasons you are only getting 5 gpm. A good slot screen will do much better. If you start off with inferior parts, you can't expect to get the best results. I can only assume you bought this screen at a big box store. If you want a Stainless Steel slot screen, I have a few for $50.00 each I'm closing out. Or I can get PVC screens made by a friend of mine that are actually 5 thousands of an inch opening that will give more water than the Stainless Screens.
