Every spring for the past 4 years, I have been fighting tooth and nail trying to prime my damn pump. Last year I dug up my whole line approximately 30 ft and replaced that. This year, I got a new pump but still having a devil of a time priming it. My pump is situated approximately 30 ft from the well which is at the top of a hill. You'd think with the water running downhill it would be easier to prime. Perhaps I should move my pump closer to the top of the hill where the well is. Any suggestions? Sincerely, Damsel in Distress.
