Well has been working fine for 18 months,but recently a wire broke about about 20' above submersible pump. It actually broke, not frayed. (150' down)
My supplier said that it was caused by the pump rotating when it turned on and off - so he sold me an expandable rubber sleeve to install just above the pump motor. I installed it according to directions, snug, but not too snug. Pump went down easily. I had to pull the pump up shortly thereafter, it encountered several places that were hard to get by, but at about 80' feet it refuses to budge.
I haven't used as much pulling power as I can, wanting to see if anybody has any experience with these contraptions.
