Hello all..am I the only girl on here?? I need some help then gents or anyone for that matter. I have a Gould jet pump on my well at my cottage in northern Michigan. I believe the washing machine was overloaded to the point that it blew the power and the pump..I know have power back and water in the well but I cannot prime it as I do not know how to do this or even where on the pump is the area that I pour water into?? Does the check valve have anything to do with this? I shut the power off to the pump because we have no mwater coming out of any faucet and I think the pump ran for 10 hours like that w/o water. Any advice that will save me a hugh bill would be greatly appreciated..College tution and plumbing bills dont go together well when you are a single mom.
Thanks for any advice!! Lynn in Northern Michigan
