Ok so we decided to abandon the old well and are having a new one drilled this week...

Cost: $2100 for 150ft 3inch well... includes a hole in the ground and a PVC casing...

About two weeks ago when we were trying to fix the older 2inch well with the stuck drop pipe we bought a new foot valve($30) and something referred to as a "jet system with leathers/ejector" that cost $100 that both go on the end of the drop pipe...

Can we use these same parts for the new well that we are having drilled or do we need to buy a new valve and jet system....

We are trying to be EXTREMLY economical about all of this and save as much money as possible - and if it will be less expensive and still work well then we want to use the pump that we have which is a Myers 1HP....

Opinions Please.... the well company wants $750 to finish the job after the well is drilled... that seems alot of money for something I feel we can do most of ourselves.... could be wrong though, wouldnt be the first time.
