High pressure pump for chicken hatchery.

know much about this? My uncle said the motor was fine but need to replace pump, I didnt ask any intelligent questions like what was wrong with it, just snapped a couple quick pics. Believe its 150 psi, cant remember if it was 40 or 50hp motor. I can find out whatever if need be. Used for tray washer on the back porch at hatchery. The manufacturer of the washer quoted him 3700$ delivered for pump without motor. Any thoughts?

I heard of Paco, but don't know anything about them. That looks a lot like a Myers 12C or 12CI. It's a two stage centrifugal and can do up to 410 feet of head and max out at 160 gpm. 5hp, 7.5hp, 10, 15 and 20 hp.

believe they are made by grundfos, its paco type OL model 1 1/2"x3"x9 1/5" (pacopumps.com).. and i took a closer look at the motor.. 50 hp. he said just the parts for rebuild were over 1200 and he wasnt crazy about the idea of trying to work on the the old pump and risk breaking something else, so he was gonna just replace the pump and not worry with it for 3700. i didnt know if it was something you could get, or wanted to give a price on.

I might be able to get one. They are in my Myers book, which means I'm supposed to be able to buy them.

I'm thinking the reason they have the 50 hp on that pump is to keep the amps down. It's not too uncommon to over size a motor where the impeller is not trimmed any and they are at the outside of a curve which may put the motor at it's max amps or a hair over. But since they only go to 20 hp in my book, that's probably as big a one as I can buy. He might have to go to an agriculture distributor to find the larger one. But it sure looks like the Myers pump. It could also be that Myers never made it; they just offer it and put their name on it. Who knows what these big companies do?

I suggest you to choose the correct pump, correct pump material according to fluid, then match motor or diesel according to pump shaft power. Any question, you can write to us pdmpump@163.com www.pdmmachinery.com. Our engineer will help you to resolve your questions.
