So I have a 2" point down 20 ft. Very sandy where I hammered it in. (UP of Mi., 1 mile from lake superior) The problem is: It takes 5 minutes to fill a gallon with water. Water table is at 4 ft. The sediment pulled through the point when dried looks like beach sand. Seems to me everything is perfect but 1G every 5 min. is not acceptable. Is it common to do a backwash with a new system? Point is the type with holes as opposed to the slits in the pipe with screen inside. Thanks for help in advance!
