    Enough Current?

    Most always, a well pump is supplied with a 30 amp breaker,(complete with appropriate wire size).
    I’m guessing that allows for the length of run and an occasional outlet, perhaps a small electric heater, light bulb….who knows.

    Question;
    Will my generator run the well pump? It has a 250 volt, 20amp outlet, about 125 foot run of 10 gauge wire to the well house, about 70 feet down the well with absolutely no other current draws.
    My bad....I forgot to say the pump uses less than 10 amps.
