I am trying to get my well working. The well itself was checked at 15 gpm with the well company pump. It has a 1/2 hp pump that was installed in 1993. But it has a fuse box with 2 "type T" 30A fuses that looks like it hasn't been replaced in a much longer time. Shouldn't the fuse size correspond to the pump size? If the fuses were over-sized, could that mean that the pump had burned out? I would like to replace the fuse box with a circuit breaker, but I want to get the right one for the pump size. I also may need a new pump. Right now, I replaced the fuses, but I don't have any sign of life.
